ART NOUVEAU SIDE TABLE
Graceful curves of ebonized maple surround a gorgeous calcite ball. Three matching, smaller balls support the glass top. This is probably not a piece you want around little ones.
TRI-FOLD PRIVACY SCREEN
Birds Eye Maple and subtle leaded glass, along with graceful arches make this a very unique privacy screen or room divider. Ebonized maple surrounds and sets off each panel
17 drawer dresser made from domestic cherry. All drawers feature dovetail joinery and are piston fit. I'm not a fan of shiny furniture, and finish most of my projects with hand rubbed Tung oil
I call this my Harry Potter Hutch. Doesn't it look like it belongs in Mrs. Weasley's kitchen?
Made out of Mahogany with sliced Manzanita trim and Cedar slabs.
STEAMPUNK DINING TABLE
Now this was serious fun. Black Walnut and rusty brake shoes - How does it get any better? If you would like to see a video of how this was made, it's on the video page
WINE TASTING TABLE
The Middleridge Wine Tasting Gallery in Idyllwild, California is the home to a few of these round tasting tables. Panels are patinated steel and the top is patinated copper, all framed with ebonized maple with subtle under-counter lighting.
Modeled after 1900 era garment cart, this version holds a flat screen TV and all its various components. Made out of steel and recycled planks. Wheels are the real thing.
ESTATE ENTRY GATE
Not my usual gig, but sounded like fun, so, why not? I designed this wood, stone and steel entry for a three house compound in the mountains. The steel work was done by Dore Capitani, the rock work by "Phil" and the wood work by me.
